I am Not that ‘Ashish Mishra’ Person Being Abused on Twitter Says

Ashish Mishra aka “Monu Bhaiya” (Brother Monu) is the son of the Minister of State in the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India.

He has been in news all over the country recently as protesting farmers have directly blamed him and the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party for the violence on Sunday that resulted in the deaths of eight people, including four farmers, three BJP workers, and a journalist.

The deaths have resulted in creating a lot of tension for the Minister’s son and BJP ahead of the assembly elections in the state. The matter is under investigation as of now but there is palpable anger all across the country.

One unexpected recipient of the angry responses of those who blame the Minister’s son for the incident is another person who incidentally shares the same name. Ashish Mishra had to come out on Twitter and clarify that “I am not Ashish Mishra.”

अरे मैं वो आशीष मिश्रा नहीं हूं 😭 https://t.co/Y6xBgDIaFj

— Ashish Mishra (@ktakshish) October 6, 2021

The person in question is the Social Media Head of Lallantop as per his profile. He had to respond to the hateful message of one of the Twitter users who called him criminal and warned that Karma will hit you back (for) what you have done with farmers is pathetic. Just wait for the Karma.

His response instantly revoked some funny Tweets

My wife's brother also has the same name. Mujhe bahut man kar raha hai uske uper gussa nikaalne ka…

पहले लोग विकाश नाम से विचलित होते थे ओर अब आशीष मिश्रा….😃😃😀😊 pic.twitter.com/YJyyzmiFpK

In the middle of these numerous funny responses to his Tweet, the fact remains established that he is not the Ashish Mishra that people are claiming, and as such he should be left to live and thrive peacefully on social media.
